Challenge 24

We started this game with 60 contestants which were later joined by 8 addons and 4 returning players. After 23 rounds of eliminations that saw 67 exits from the game, we are down to 5 players

Including before and after the team swap we have representatives of every team that didn't dissolve left in the Final 5. However, only two original teams have representatives, and that has been the case since Volcarona left as the last original VSS standing in the Final 7.

The challenge is an OU battle tournament. This will take place in Pokemon Showdown. I'm sure you all have accounts on that website. If not, it is very easy to do so. Before any battling takes place, you must submit to me your team of Pokemon complete with moves, held items, and abilities (natures and EV spread work too but are not required) and you must use the same team during the whole tournament. The style is single battle and 6 vs. 6. If you win, you move on. If you lose, you're out of the challenge and you will be vulnerable in the next very important vote.

We are playing in the OU tier so keep in mind
-Uber Pokemon are forbidden. Any Pokemon belonging to the OU tier or lower may be used. So yes, you can use UU or RU or NU too but keep in mind the Pokemon in OU are there for a reason.
-The abilities Moody, Sand Veil, and Snow Cloak are banned.
-You cannot have a Pokemon with Drizzle and a Pokemon with Swift Swim on the same team.
-Soul Dew is banned
-OHKO moves, moves that negatively modify the opponent's accuracy, or moves that positively modify the user's evasiveness are banned (however, moves that cause damage and lower accuracy, such as Mud-Slap, are not banned)
-Item Clause is enforced in real life official tournaments but not in the OU metagame. However, I encourage you guys to think things through and not just rely on one item (Don't be like Nishino, an NPC in Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 who runs a team in which all six Pokemon carry Leftovers). Therefore, I will reject any team that has more than 3 Pokemon using the same item. If you are caught with 4 or more Pokemon using the same item, you will be disqualified from the tournament.

One thing needs to be determined before any battles can happen. The matchups must be set up. Since there are five players left in the game, two contestants will compete in the first round. The winner of that first battle moves on to the second round where the four remaining contestants compete and the two winners advance to the final round where the winner of that final battle wins immunity, guaranteeing them a spot in the final 4.

To make things interesting, the winner of the last challenge, Leavanny, gets to decide which two players compete in the first round battle. The winner of that battle faces Leavanny in the second round. The two players Leavanny doesn't pick will face each other in the second round. As soon as Leavanny makes his decision, I will let you all know. Meanwhile, you may get started right away on building a team to use for this challenge, and as soon as you figure it out, send me it so I have it on file. Good luck and get going. If you want immunity, you will have to fight for it!
