60 contestants started out. 8 players were added on and 4 voted off players were brought back. 75% of the cast has been eliminated. The reward for the other 25%? Making it to the merge and jury phase of Total Pokemon Unova. It's been a good season so far. You've had your predictable votes, your blindsides, and not an overdose of twists but just enough to keep even the smartest players on their toes. And with 18 players left looking to find their way to the end in what is now an individual game, things will certainly be intense.

The first challenge of the merge was making up a dual/typed gym. A bit over half of the contestants did the challenge. The others probably could've been busy, stuck, or flying under the radar. Axew-yymastaconfuctious and Vanilluxe-DoubleJEspejwan6 both won immunity but were handed the difficult task of giving another player of their choice imunity as well. Axew chose Bouffalant-jacobwinner1999 and Vanilluxe chose Cinccino-Bunpuffy. Those 4 players are in the best position they could ask for: completely safe right after the merge. As for the other 14, 2 of them are going home, which means every non-immune player has a 1 in 7 chance of being voted off.

Leavanny-masterofflam: I could be going home now, but hopefully voting isn't to bad. I hate missing challenges for real life reasons. I swear, I'm not being lazy, but life is taking me on a roller coaster right now and it just won't slow down. Good luck to everyone at this elimination!

18th place: Durant-Woodenfan. You weren't able to finish the challenge on time but even then you still had a target on your back. You're a common face around these parts (my camps), and you've gotten far before, with your best finishes in Total Pokemon Second Choices and Total Pokemon White 2 with 4 place in each as Musharna and Magnemite. This time there was no time for underestimation and you were voted off right off the bat. 14 votes. That means the only people who didn't vote you off were yourself, the 2 that didn't vote, and 1 other person that voted. So a lot of people probably have a similar opinion on you. 1st member of the jury.

17th place: Swanna-kevandkeith42120. Post merge drama is you're middle name. Good at challenges, strategic threat, you blindsided a lot of people, you've gotten far in plenty of camps. Total Pokemon Second Choices Liepard 5th place. Total Pokemon Outsiders Shiny Cofagrigus 6th place. Total Pokemon Media Beartic 3rd place. Total Pokemon Black 2 Grimer 6th place. Total Pokemon White 2 Audino 14th place. And the closest you've gotten in vaporterra was 2nd place as Brenda Lowe in Survivor Pokemon League, while you've won 3 camps in flarempoleon. I knew you've get votes but you always seem to slip away a few times at least. But not this time. 11 votes, probably 11 different reasons, but they probably meet at one point. 2nd member of the jury.

Welcome to camps, people. Making big moves is definitely one way to get the party started. It's still the final 16 though. And it was pretty unified this time, but with Durant and Swanna now gone, other players will fill the role of "big threats" and it might not be a clear decision next vote.
